The Destruction of the 4th World by Murray Mednick

The ancient Native American trickster, Coyote, makes ready for the end of the world with his only accomplice – a 13-year-old boy from a dysfunctional Jewish family.  Playwright Murray Mednick combines his signature lyricism with vaudevillian wordplay to examine the relationship between the creative and destructive aspects of human existence.

It’s not theater, it’s not film, and it’s not a book – but a hybrid in the middle. With the stark humor of Mednick’s broken characters, this modern family wrestles wildly with a feverish planet and the prediction of our last year on earth.

“The Destruction of the Fourth World is funny, moving and wise – Mednick is working at the top of his form,” Guy Zimmerman, Padua Playwrights.
